                                                                              School Administrator

CFEBP is an online school designed for preachers, pastors and missionaries.  Our school is a non profit institution, as our tuition reflects.  There are no books to buy and no expenses other than a one time payment for the tuition.  We allow each student to set their own pace and no pressure is applied from us to complete lessons in a certain timeframe.  We do offer assistance to each student in the form of email contact and in certain circumstances, a phone call.  Since the school's founding in 2008, we have graduated over 120 students from all across the globe.  The educational level of our students have ranged from not finishing high school to a masters degree.  Our guarantee to you, as a student enrolled in CFEBP, is that you will succeed in our school.  We have never had a student that failed to graduate because they could not complete the work.  Let me also assure you that CFEBP is not a paper mill that is spitting out degrees without any effort on the part of the student.  You will work for your degree!!!

  Dealing With Persecution

Text: Matthew 5:10; 2 Cor 4:8-10

Introduction: God’s people have always been subject to persecution down through the years. It is noteworthy to say that we have not seen intensely the amount of persecution as did the early believers. However, we are told in Scripture that “evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.” As we near the coming of the Lord Jesus, we will most likely see an increase of persecution here in the United States as well other countries that are known for persecuting. Before dealing with persecution, we must first notice and consider some facts about persecution.

*We Must Consider The Source Of Persecution* - 1 Peter 5:8

*We Must Consider The Shape Of Persecution* - Matthew 5:11

*We Must Consider The Significance Of Persecution* - Mark 13:13

 Fact's Concerning The Spoilers

Message #3 From The Series - "Just Facts From Jude"

Scripture Text – Jude Vs. 4

For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our
God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Introduction: In the last message, we examined facts concerning the Stand that Jude exhorted unto the believers to make. We also see that
Stand is also directed towards believers now as well. This Faith that we have is something very precious and more so, a need to protect the very foundations of this Faith is given unto us. Now in Verse 4 of our text, Jude now turns the focus from the examination of the faith, to the exposure
of those who are spoilers of the faith. In verse 4, Lord willing, we will examine some facts concerning these spoilers of the faith and see who they
are and what they are doing and where they will be going. Rest assured, they are still around today! In fact, Scripture reminds us that "but evil
men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceivied. 2 Timothy 3:13
." May the Lord help us to remain steadfast in
work of the Lord and be alert for the adversaries attacks upon the truth of God's Word. We must be ready to at all times to refute the falseness
of non-biblical doctrines today, and present the Truth, The Whole Truth and Nothing But The Truth.

I. First, We See The Identification Of The Spoilers And Their Entrance

(For there are certain men crept in unawares)

**Many Churches Have Been Overtaken By Liberalism, Modernism And Other Ism's.

**These Churches Were Not Careful And Sober To Watch For Those Invaders.

**Once They Get It And Gain Control, It's Usually Reaps Bad Results.

(Men) Meaning (Thayer's Greek Lexicon), 1) a human being, whether male or female 1a) generically, to include all human individuals 1b)
to distinguish man from beings of a different race or order 1b1) of animals and plants 1b2) of from God and Christ 1b3) of the angels 1c)
with the added notion of weakness, by which man is led into a mistake or prompted to sin 1d) with the adjunct notion of contempt or
disdainful pity 1e) with reference to two fold nature of man, body and soul 1f) with reference to the two fold nature of man, the corrupt
and the truly Christian man, conformed to the nature of God 1g) with reference to sex, a male 2) indefinitely, someone, a man, one 3) in
the plural, people 4) joined with other words, merchantman.

A.) Notice These Men And Their Presentation (For there are certain men)

**Jude presents these men as those who appear right on the outside, but are wicked inwardly.

Matthew 7:15 - Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 - For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no
marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as
the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

B.) Notice These Men And Their Position (crept in)

**Jude presents these men as those who enter in at a side door rather than the front door.

(Crept) Meaning; (Websters 1828 Dictionary) – To steal in; to move forward unheard or unseen; to come or enter unexpectedly or
unobserved; as, some error has crept into the copy of a history.

Genesis 3:1 - Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman,
Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

C.) Notice These Men And Their Persuasion (unawares)

**Jude presents these men as those who have a secret agenda of deception without others knowing. They come in as pretenders in
agreement of the church doctrine and beliefs, but without warning, bring in heresy. No one knows what's happening until it has taken over.

(Unawares) Thayer's Greek Lexicon – Meaning; 1) to enter secretly, slip in stealthily 2) to steal in.

Colossians 2:8 - Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the
world, and not after Christ.

2 Peter 3:17 - Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked,
fall from your own stedfastness.

II. Second, We See The Indictment Of The Spoilers And Their Eternal Sentence

(who were before of old ordained to this condemnation)

"This verse does not teach that these men were not elected to be saved but were elected to be lost. It denotes, rather, the sovereignty and
omniscience of God. God foreordained that all wickedness regardless of what or who, will be condemned to the lake of fire forever."
(Dr. Oliver B. Greene, Jude Commentary)

The sovereignty of God has nothing to do with the freewill of man. God knows the end in the beginning and everything in between. The
sovereignty of God does not determine whether or not and person is saved or lost. The thing that will determine the eternal destiny of a
person is that they receive the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved, or reject Him and be lost. Believers are saved, and unbelievers will be in
the lake of fire for all eternity.

A.) Notice The Length Of The Spoilers Sentence (who were before of old)

(Before) Thayer's Greek Lexicon; Meaning - 1) to write before (of time) 1a) of old set forth or designated before hand (in the scriptures of
the OT) 2) to depict or portray openly 2a) to write before the eyes of all who can read 2b) to depict, portray, paint, before the eyes.

Revelation 21:8 - But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters,
and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

2 Thessalonians 1:8-9; In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

B.) Notice The Laying-Down Of The Spoilers Sentence (ordained to this condemnation)

(Ordained) Webster's 1828 Dictionary – Appointed; instituted; established; invested with ministerial or pastoral functions; settled.

(Condemnation) Thayer's Greek Lexicon; Meaning - 1) a decree, judgments 2) judgment 2a) condemnation of wrong, the decision (whether
severe or mild) which one passes on the faults of others 2b) in a forensic sense 2b1) the sentence of a judge 2b2) the punishment with which
one is sentenced 2b3) condemnatory sentence, penal judgment, sentence 3) a matter to be judicially decided, a lawsuit, a case in court.
